How do I use a food topper?
Using one of our food toppers for dogs is straight forward.
We have formulated our dog supplements or food toppers to be suitable for daily use, so you know they are safe for your pooch. We only use high quality products, and all our products are natural with no artificial flavourings, colours or other synthetic chemicals. In some cases, we also use organic ingredients wherever possible, such as in our dog teeth cleaning powder.
In order to use a food topper, all you have to do is use the included scoop to measure the right amount and sprinkle it over your dog's wet or dry food once a day. This can be either in the morning or in the evening (the timing doesn't really matter!).
Each product comes with its own scoop in the pouch/ container. Feeding instructions are also written on the packaging as the amount of daily scoops to sprinkle will depend on your dog's size. It is important to follow the instructions to make sure you don't over or under dose your dog.
If you under dose it, you may not see a significant change. If you overdose it, there might be some undesired side effects.
Why should I use a food topper?

A high quality food topper will contain natural ingredients that will complement the main food, whether you use dry kibble or wet food.

We have formulated our supplement powders and food toppers so they can be combined. The ingredients between our product lines do not overlap, so you can safely combine two or more of our supplements.
Make sure you adhere to the individual feeding instructions, as the amount recommended will differ for each.
Can I make homemade food toppers?
Yes, of course!
You can always make your own food toppers that will add extra flavour and nutrients to your dog's food. Just make sure that you only use ingredients that are safe for dogs and avoid dog foods that dogs shouldn't eat.
If you intend to use your dog food toppers at a later date, make sure you store them adequately so they don't go off.
What is the difference between food toppers and taste toppers for dogs?
The only difference is that a food topper is a generic term for anything extra that you can sprinkle over your dog's food. A taste topper tends to refer to a powder or other product that has the sole aim of changing the taste of the food.
